Job Description

Title: Workday Payroll and Integration Testing Specialist
Location:  Remote
Employment Type: Contract
Compensation:
Pay Range:$73.50-$105.00 Per Hr
Description
This remote contract position involves testing payroll and integration processes. The role requires experience in payroll systems and testing methodologies, with a focus on ensuring accurate payroll processing and integration. Expertise in generic payroll software and time-tracking systems is essential. Conduct comprehensive payroll testing, including scenarios for regular and off-cycle pay, retro changes, and tax deductions.

Reconcile payroll data between current systems and new implementations, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Test time-tracking entries and calculations, ensuring correct integration with payroll systems. Validate project and labor cost assignments, ensuring accurate financial reporting. Support post-payroll testing, ensuring smooth data transfer and handling of exceptions. Manage integration testing, ensuring correct data flow and error handling with external vendors. Assist in cutover processes, supporting readiness checks and initial payroll cycles.

Key Responsibilities
Build and execute payroll test scenarios. Reconcile payroll data and assist in sign-off processes. Test time entry and calculation rules. Validate integration files and acknowledgments. Log and track defects, ensuring traceable results. Qualifications
5 years of payroll experience, including 2 implementations in a testing role. Hands-on experience with time tracking and project costing systems. Experience with post-payroll providers covering tax filing and remittance. Strong knowledge of US multi-state payroll tax and reconciliation.
