Job Title: Mainframe Database Administrator

Location: (St louis, MO) – Onsite

Must-Have Skills

·       DB2 for z/OS – 2+ years professional experience

·       Mainframe DB2 Database Administration

·       MS SQL Server – database administration and development

·       Strong SQL – SQL coding, code reviews, query optimization

·       Database Performance Tuning

·       Indexing Strategy & Query Optimization

·       Relational Database Design

·       Data Warehousing

·       SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) – ETL

·       SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) – Reporting

·       DB2 z/OS technical environment

·       Database troubleshooting & problem resolution

·       Data analysis and database documentation

Good-to-Have / Supporting Skills

·       SQL Explain / Explain Plan and cost analysis

·       Database architecture

·       SDLC and systems analysis

·       Mainframe environment knowledge

·       Technical documentation

·       Communication with technical and business stakeholders

·       Ability to manage multiple projects

·       Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
