System Admin with Security Clearance

System Administrator Program Description: Our client is looking for a Linux System Admin to join their team! Day to Day Responsibilities: The Systems Administrator will perform as a Linux Systems Administrator on large, classified government contracts. Will work under minimal direction and independently determine and develop approaches to solutions.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network, software, and system engineers, PC desktop technicians, project managers, end users, and customer and IT management. Recommend and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management. Create and maintain user and computer accounts and modify file permissions and security access lists.

Knowledge and experience with VMware and virtualization. Ability to perform quarterly security patch updates supplied by factory on a multitude of virtual machines. Maintain security audit and logging information on all classified networked and standalone computers as directed by the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM). Other duties as assigned
