Technical Writer (Audit Plan/ Control)

Location: 60% onsite (3 days onsite from Washington DC)

Role Description:

Conduct walkthrough, prepare audit plan, & assess internal control through control testing. Ensured quality of audits consisting of: understanding business systems & operations; recognizing & evaluating relevant business risks & controls; performing appropriate audit tests focusing on high risk areas; developing audit findings & recommendations into an audit report format ;maintaining confidentiality. Analyzed & Reviewed Notice of Findings Recommendations (NFRs) & determined Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to remediate the NFRs. Monitored changes to process documentation (narrative, control matrix) including risk monitoring. Utilized the Federal Information System Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM) to conduct assessments surrounding Security Management, Access Control, Change Management, and Segregation of Duties. Served as the POC to IT audits. Support Agile of Audit team restructure and reporting.
