Electrical Project Manager | Renewable Energy | Belfast Vickerstock are pleased to be partnering with an established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy as they continue to expand their capability across the renewable energy sector. Due to an increasing workload and a growing pipeline of wind, solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, they are seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join their Belfast team and support the successful delivery of renewable energy projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer or Project Manager looking to take greater ownership of project delivery while developing their career within the rapidly expanding renewable energy sector. Manage the delivery of wind, solar and BESS projects across a growing renewable energy portfolio Work across projects from early-stage development through design and construction Join an established multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong pipeline of renewable energy work Combine electrical engineering knowledge with project and client management Work directly with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary technical teams Build specialist expertise within one of the fastest-growing areas of the engineering sector Your new role as Electrical Project Manager Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will take responsibility for coordinating the successful delivery of renewable energy projects, acting as a key interface between clients, contractors and technical disciplines. You will be responsible for: Managing the delivery of electrical engineering packages across wind, solar PV and BESS projects Coordinating projects from feasibility and planning through detailed design and construction Managing project programmes, deliverables and key milestones Coordinating electrical design activities alongside civil, structural and environmental disciplines Acting as a key point of contact for clients, contractors and project stakeholders Reviewing technical information and supporting the resolution of engineering and construction issues Managing project risks and ensuring technical deliverables are completed in line with programme requirements Supporting stakeholder engagement and project reporting throughout delivery Contributing to the continued growth and successful delivery of the consultancy's renewable energy portfolio What you will need to succeed as Electrical Project Manager Technical and project experience A degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or a related discipline would be advantageous Previous experience delivering electrical engineering, energy or infrastructure projects Experience managing projects through design and construction stages Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and project delivery Experience within wind, solar, BESS or wider renewable energy projects would be particularly advantageous Candidates from either consultancy or contractor backgrounds will be considered Personal attributes Strong project management and organisational skills Confident client and stakeholder communication A proactive and solutions-focused approach to project delivery Commercial awareness with the ability to manage competing project priorities Ability to coordinate effectively across multidisciplinary engineering teams What's in it for you?
