Job Description:
Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analysts to support data analysis, requirements gathering, testing, and stakeholder engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess advanced SQL expertise, strong analytical problem-solving abilities, and experience translating business requirements into clear technical documentation. This role will work closely with business stakeholders and development teams to analyze data, validate solutions, and ensure data quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Investigation

• Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and business insights.
• Write and optimize advanced SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data.
• Utilize SQL analytical functions to support reporting and investigative efforts.
• Analyze data patterns and relationships to support business and technical decision-making.
• Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and testing activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating results and investigating defects.

Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Engagement

• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Communicate directly with stakeholders to understand business needs and data requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with development teams to clarify requirements and support solution delivery.

Documentation

• Create and maintain Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) documentation.
• Develop Data Flow Diagrams to illustrate data movement across systems.
• Document business processes and workflows through Process Flow Documentation.
• Capture and maintain meeting notes, decisions, action items, and business requirements.
• Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with project standards.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced SQL expertise with experience writing complex queries.
• Strong analytical and data investigation skills.
• Experience using SQL analytical/window functions.
• Ability to perform data validation, testing, and root cause analysis.
• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Experience creating Source-to-Target Mapping documentation.
• Experience developing Data Flow Diagrams and Process Flow Documentation.
• Strong requirements gathering and business analysis skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and technical teams.
