Data Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Analyst in Miami, FL.

Key Tasks

• Design and implement data quality frameworks, controls, and monitoring solutions
• Build automated validation and exception-reporting processes to improve data accuracy, completeness, consistency, integrity, and timeliness
• Investigate complex data quality issues and perform root cause analysis
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, Python, and SQL
• Embed data quality validations into data ingestion and transformation processes
• Develop reusable validation components and automated testing solutions
• Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards independently
• Support cloud data platforms and modernization initiatives
• Maintain Git-based deployment and CI/CD processes
• Partner with engineers, architects, analysts, governance teams, and business stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Present findings and recommendations to technical and business audiences

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
• 3+ years of relevant data experience
• Hands-on Databricks, Power BI, and SQL experience required
• Strong ability to independently build Power BI reports
• Experience with Python, Spark, ETL/ELT, and data quality processes
• Knowledge of Oracle and modern cloud data platforms
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
