IT Support Technician

Position Name: Onsite IT Support Technician

Location: El Dorado Hills, CA

Contract 12 months

Pay rate: $30/hr on W2

Job Description:
The Onsite IT Support Technician will provide scheduled onsite technical support to the client as part of a co-managed IT services model. The position requires a minimum of 8 hours per week onsite, on a regular agreed schedule, with additional onsite support as requested for projects and incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to District users.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripheral equipment.
• Support Windows 11 workstations and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Assist with user account setup, onboarding, offboarding, and access issues.
• Troubleshoot basic network, Wi-Fi, connectivity, and hardware issues.
• Perform device provisioning, imaging, asset tagging, patching, and replacement support.
• Coordinate complex issues with the remote technical team and District Information Systems Manager.
• Provide additional onsite assistance for IT projects, incidents, and system maintenance when required.
• Document service activities and maintain accurate ticket records.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience providing desktop/help desk and onsite IT support.
• Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, endpoint devices, and basic networking.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-service skills.
• Ability to provide onsite support in El Dorado Hills / El Dorado County, California.
• Ability to pass required background checks before receiving access to District systems or sensitive data.
