Senior Project Accountant

Irving, TX | Full-Time | Onsite/Hybrid Based on Business Needs

The Intersect Group is partnering with a growing organization in a project-based manufacturing environment to hire a Senior Project Accountant. This is a high-visibility opportunity for an adaptable accounting professional who enjoys owning project financials, partnering with operations, and working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
What You’ll Do

• Manage percentage-of-completion accounting and project revenue recognition
• Own full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Prepare project financials, budgets, forecasts, and cost analyses
• Monitor project profitability, cost variances, and financial risks
• Partner with project managers and operations on financial performance
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting analyses

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of accounting experience in a project-driven environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of percentage-of-completion accounting
• Hands-on full-cycle accounting experience
• Experience with project costing, budgeting, and forecasting
• Manufacturing or construction experience strongly preferred
• Strong Excel, analytical, and communication skills
• Adaptable and comfortable managing shifting priorities
