Overview
  • Enterprise Architect for client. The portfolios include Store, Digital, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Marketing, Data Analytics.
Key Responsibilities
  • Define and drive enterprise architecture strategy aligned with business vision and digital transformation goals
  • Design scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise applications across modern architectures (microservices, event-driven, API-first)
  • Lead architecture design across multi-cloud / hyperscaler platforms (Google Cloud Platform, Azure, OCI)
  • Establish architecture governance frameworks, standards, and best practices. Reviews adherence, evaluations and continuously updates standards.
  • Understand and contribute to Data Architecture. 
Roles & Responsibilities
Cloud & Modernization
  • Architect cloud-native applications and migration strategies for enterprise workloads
  • Lead modernization initiatives including legacy transformation, containerization, and platform engineering
  • Drive adoption of cloud services (compute, storage, data, AI/ML services) effectively across enterprise
  • Understand and contribute to Data Architecture. 
AI-led Enterprise Solutions
  • Architect and implement AI-driven enterprise solutions (GenAI, Agentic AI, ML pipelines)
  • Integrate AI capabilities across SDLC (design, development, testing, operations)
  • Drive use-case identification and industrialization of AI solutions across business functions
  • Ensure responsible AI practices, governance, and ethical implementation
Technology Stack & Engineering Excellence
  • Strong expertise in Java ecosystem (Spring Boot, Microservices, API development)
  • Experience with: 
    • Containers & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
    • API gateways and integration platforms
    • Event streaming (Kafka / PubSub)
  • Define and enforce engineering best practices, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines
Required Qualifications
  • 20+ years of IT experience with 8+ years in architecture roles 
  • Retail domain experience will be a good nice-to-have. 
  • Proven experience in multi-cloud architecture (Google Cloud Platform, Azure, OCI) 
  • Strong hands-on experience in Java-based enterprise application design 
  • Experience in AI/ML / GenAI solutions and integration into enterprise systems 
  • Strong experience in solutioning, proposals, and customer engagement
Certifications: 
  • Google Professional Cloud Architect
  • Exposure to: 
    • Platform engineering
    • SRE / Observability architecture
    • API monetization and digital ecosystems
  • Experience in large-scale transformation programs
