The Administrative Assistant, Media role reports into the EVP, Media for Focus Features and supports the execution and coordination of all aspects of a media campaign. This role is integrated, and experience supporting both digital and broadcast media campaigns is preferred. This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted position that requires strong organization, attention to detail, adaptability, and communication skills.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Planning: Assist media team members with various aspects of media buying and planning including - broadcast, digital, print, out of home, radio, and awards.
- Plan Packet Management: Maintain media plan packets including budgets, media calendars and flow charts.
- Promotions: Support Media team by coordinating deliverables, ensuring media partners receive required assets, and supporting internal review and approval workflows.
- Trafficking: Work closely with creative team to ensure media plans are accurately executed and trafficked according to schedule.
- Finance: Process work orders, coordinate with vendors and internal finance teams on billing and payment, and track and support departmental expenses.
- Miscellaneous: Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling meetings with external vendors and supporting EVP travel arrangements.
- Bachelor’s degree in media, marketing, business, finance, or communications or a related field preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel; familiarity with syndicated media research tools and media planning or reporting platforms.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting media planning, buying, or campaign execution across multiple platforms.
- Proven relationship‑building skills; strong problem‑solving ability; exceptional attention to detail; and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
