Business Intelligence Engineer, Power BI/Azure - Remote - $48/hr w2 (No CTC)

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of BI, Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Data Architecture experience.
• 5+ years of advanced Power BI development experience.
• Strong Microsoft Fabric and Azure data technology experience.
• Expertise in DAX, Power Query, semantic modeling, and report performance optimization.
• Experience designing executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and C-suite reporting solutions.
• Strong dimensional modeling, data warehousing, metadata management, and data architecture knowledge.
• Experience creating governed datasets and reusable enterprise analytics assets.
• Strong knowledge of row-level security, data governance, and trusted reporting practices.
• Experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, Genie, or similar cloud analytics technologies.
• Hands-on experience using Copilot, Generative AI, or natural-language analytics capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, presentation, and data storytelling skills.
• Ability to independently lead highly visible and complex analytics initiatives.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience with Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, Notebooks, Real-Time Intelligence, and Semantic Models.
• Healthcare, insurance, financial services, or regulated-industry experience.
• Conversational analytics, AI agents, or natural-language query experience.
