We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Custom Product Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our sales and engineering efforts by accurately analyzing project documentation and preparing comprehensive estimates. Your expertise will help ensure our solutions are both cost-effective and tailored to meet our customers' needs, contributing to our company's growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze bid documents, renderings, specifications, floor plans, and other relevant documentation to gather necessary data.
- Prepare detailed time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for customer quotes.
- Evaluate data to determine the most cost-effective solutions for both the company and the customer.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and project teams to ensure accurate and competitive proposals.
- Maintain organized records of estimates and project documentation.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements in estimating procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of an Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in estimating, project analysis, or a related role within a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of materials, labor costs, and industry standards.
