The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is recruiting for a Supplier Quality Manager on behalf of a growing aircraft manufacturer with a four-plant campus and plans for further expansion. Reporting to the VP of Quality, the Supplier Quality Manager will build and lead the company's supplier quality function from the ground up, creating supplier performance systems, raising incoming quality, putting supplier accountability programs in place, and launching a supplier recovery process to cut supplier-driven quality costs.

You will lead supplier audits and help suppliers strengthen their quality processes, concentrating on the top 20% of suppliers that need the most support. The supply base ranges from small family-owned shops to major aerospace OEMs, including some single-source suppliers. This is a full-time, on-site position in Olney, Texas, with travel of up to 50% and relocation assistance available.

What You'll Do

• Establish supplier quality policies, procedures, and systems.
• Build supplier scorecards and performance metrics.
• Lead supplier audit and supplier development programs.
• Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
• Create supplier recovery processes and cost recovery initiatives.
• Conduct supplier risk assessments and qualification.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement to lift supplier performance.
• Analyze supplier quality trends and drive corrective actions.
• Strengthen incoming quality and supplier accountability.

How success is measured: supplier PPM reduction, incoming quality improvement, dollars recovered from suppliers, SCAR closure performance, supplier audit results, and supplier performance ratings.

What You Bring

Required

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or a related field
• 7+ years of Supplier Quality experience
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / AS9100 and Supplier Management practices
• Strong Negotiation and Relationship Management skills
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship

Preferred

• Aerospace manufacturing experience

Compensation & Total Rewards

• Salary: $130,000 - $150,000
• Bonus: 40% annual bonus, paid out quarterly
• Engagement: Full-time, direct hire; on-site, Olney, TX, with up to 50% travel
• Benefits: two-week company shutdowns twice a year (July and December) and relocation assistance
