Senior Associate, Alternative Assets

Our client, a leading institutional investment manager, is seeking a Sr. Associate, Alternative Assets to join its investment team. This role offers exposure across private equity, private credit, secondaries, co-investments, and other alternative investment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence on alternative investment managers and opportunities.
• Evaluate private market investments across a variety of asset classes.
• Prepare investment recommendations and supporting materials for internal committees.
• Monitor portfolio performance and manager activity.
• Assist with portfolio construction and allocation decisions.
• Build relationships with GPs, fund managers, and industry participants.
• Analyze market trends and emerging opportunities within private markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in alternative investments, asset management, insurance investing, pensions, endowments, OCIOs, or fund-of-funds platforms.
• Experience conducting manager due diligence and evaluating private market investments.
• Strong understanding of private equity, private credit, and institutional investing.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
