The Role
• Monitor network events, incidents, and alerts to ensure timely identification and resolution of issues.
• Apply ITIL frameworks to ensure network event management aligns with industry best practices.
• Conduct audits of event monitoring systems, correlation processes, and response procedures for ITIL compliance.
• Analyze event logs, metrics, and trends to identify areas for improvement in event detection, classification, and response.
• Train and mentor IT staff on ITIL event management practices and quality assurance procedures.
• Prepare and present regular quality assurance reports on event management performance to senior management.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of related IT experience.
• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and network monitoring/incident management systems.
