Network/Telecommunications Technician with Security Clearance

A TEKsystems customer is looking for a Network/Telecommunications Technician to support a base infrastructure modernization project on site in Oklahoma City. You will play a crucial role in staging, configuration, and packing/shipping of network equipment for USAF customers. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing basic router and switch configurations, unpacking and packing equipment, assisting with shipping, maintaining racks and cabinets, and conducting inventory of network assets and test equipment
- Ensure network functionality and integration
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of lab environments for network testing and integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network equipment issues in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all safety and security guidelines while handling network equipment.
- Collaborate with network engineers and program managers to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a lab environment in a safe and organized manner.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to update system data. Requirements: - Active Secret Clearance - 3+ years of related experience
- Route and switch configuration experience
- Experience maintaining and organizing network racks.
