Job Description

Lead Computer Operations Analyst - Contract or CTP - Raleigh, NC/ Hybrid - $46.00-$53.00/hr. The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's/applicant's qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position. Our client is seeking a Lead Computer Operations Analyst in Raleigh, NC/ Hybrid. Role Description
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience with enterprise job scheduling and workload automation tools, along with the ability to provide technical leadership, knowledge transfer, and training to operations staff. This position will serve as a subject matter expert during the Control-M implementation and will help ensure a smooth transition into steady-state operations. Lead the configuration, setup, and maintenance of Control-M jobs, workflows, and scheduling processes.

Partner with infrastructure, application, and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into automated job schedules. Support the implementation, testing, and deployment of Control-M across the organization. Monitor job execution, troubleshoot failures, and coordinate issue resolution with appropriate teams. Develop and maintain job scheduling standards, operational procedures, and documentation. Perform root cause analysis of scheduling and batch processing issues. Ensure scheduling processes align with operational, security, and compliance requirements.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and operations personnel. Develop and deliver training materials and knowledge transfer sessions for team members. Assist with establishing operational support models, monitoring practices, and team processes for the new Computer Operations function. Collaborate with vendors, implementation partners, and internal stakeholders throughout the deployment lifecycle. Participate in after-hours support activities as needed during critical implementation phases.

Skills & Requirements
5+ years of experience in Computer Operations, Production Control, Batch Processing, or Enterprise Scheduling environments. Hands-on experience with Control-M administration, implementation, or support. Experience creating, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting automated jobs and workflows. Strong understanding of enterprise production operations and workload automation concepts. Experience documenting procedures and operational processes. Proven ability to train, mentor, and support technical teams. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams. Prior experience leading or supporting a Control-M implementation or migration project. Experience within banking, financial services, or highly regulated environments. Knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, and enterprise application environments. Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Experience with ITIL processes and production support operations. Understanding of batch processing, file transfers, and enterprise application integrations.
