OverviewWe are seeking a DevOps Engineer who will support high-volume production systems in a hybrid cloud environment. This role is responsible for maintaining the reliability, availability, and performance of our production platform while supporting weekly software releases and driving continuous operational improvements.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Linux, Kubernetes, Java application platforms, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation. You will support a hybrid environment spanning on-premises and cloud infrastructure across multiple global regions and collaborate daily with international engineering teams to ensure stable, scalable, and secure operations.
ResponsibilitiesSupport and administer production systems across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring platform availability, performance, and reliability.
Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and deployment automation using Git, Jenkins, Maven, and related DevOps tools.
Administer Kubernetes environments (preferably EKS and AKS), including container orchestration, ingress controllers, load balancing, and networking.
Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Bash, Python, Terraform, Ansible, and SaltStack.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and support Linux-based Java application environments, including Tomcat, RabbitMQ, Oracle (with DBA support), and observability tools such as Datadog, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and Grafana.
3-5 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Production Support role.
Strong Linux systems administration experience supporting enterprise production environments.
Experience with Kubernetes, preferably Amazon EKS and/or Azure AKS.
Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and Maven.
Working knowledge of Layer 4 and Layer 7 networking, including load balancers and ingress controllers.
Scripting experience with Bash and/or Python.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or SaltStack.
Experience supporting Java applications, including JVMs, Apache Tomcat, RabbitMQ, and Oracle databases.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across globally distributed teams.
