Senior IT Project Manager – Medicaid Technology & Operations

Location: Remote (Pacific Time Zone; strong preference for Hawaii)

Must‑Have Profile

• Senior‑level Project Managers with large‑scale, high‑visibility technology or operational project leadership
• PMP‑certified
• Strong portfolio management and executive stakeholder engagement
• Experience in enterprise IT environments; Smartsheet strongly preferred
• Medicaid or public sector project experience highly preferred
• Must reside in Pacific Time Zone (Hawaii preferred)

Core Responsibilities

• Lead strategic, complex projects; manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and issues
• Build detailed project plans and monitor performance using enterprise tools
• Drive risk mitigation and project stability
• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors
• Serve as primary communication point for executives and stakeholders
• Manage project financials, reporting, and quality assurance
• Oversee project closure, documentation, and lessons learned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
• PMP certification
• Extensive experience managing large-scale, multi‑project portfolios
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Experience with Smartsheet or similar PM tools
• Ability to manage multiple high‑priority initiatives in fast‑moving environments
