Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager Location: Head Office / Project Based Salary: Competitive + Benefits Type: Full-Time, Permanent The Opportunity A well-established and highly regarded NW construction contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior / Project Manager to join its growing team.

With a strong pipeline of secured work the business is delivering a diverse portfolio of projects from £10m - £50m in value including:

Commercial and office developments<br />Residential new-build and refurbishment projects<br />Hotel and hospitality projects<br />Healthcare and education developments<br />Heritage and listed building refurbishments<br />Façade, external envelope and major refurbishment projectsThe Role The successful candidate will take a lead role in the delivery of construction projects from pre-construction and inception through to completion, handover and customer care.

Key responsibilities will include:

Leading project teams and ensuring safe, high-quality delivery<br />Managing projects to programme and budget<br />Preparing Contractors' Proposals and reviewing Employers' Requirements<br />Managing client relationships and maintaining strong communication<br />Leading operational management of live projects and bids<br />Working closely with Commercial, Pre-Construction, HSEQ, Planning and Senior Management teams<br />Developing detailed project programmes<br />Identifying and resolving project issues effectively<br />Supporting the development and mentoring of junior team membersAbout You The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within construction<br />Strong leadership and team management skills<br />Good commercial and contractual awareness<br />Excellent knowledge of construction techniques, sequencing and methodologies<br />Strong planning and organisational skills<br />Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability<br />Strong written and verbal communication skills<br />A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail<br />The ability to manage demanding programmes, budgets and deadlinesThe Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor with a strong order book, diverse project portfolio and long-term pipeline of work.
