Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Marathon TS Long Term Contract Onsite in Sunnyvale, CA Active Secret Clearance Required Marathon TS is seeking a Secret Cleared Systems Engineer to support the Space Force on a long term contract in Sunnyvale, CA.

Requirements

• Active DoD Final Secret security clearance (future TopSecret may be required)
• Current Security+ certification
• Follow a 9x80A schedule
• 100% on-site

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following

• Linux/UNIX System Administration deploy, configure, harden, troubleshoot, and support disasterrecovery (NetBackup/Veeam).
• Storage Management install, secure, and monitor NetApp or other NAS/SAN solutions.
• CyberCompliance apply STIGs, manage patches/upgrades, perform trusted downloads, and maintain RMFbased compliance.
• Change & Asset Management execute changes using changemanagement tools and keep asset inventories up to date.
• Operational Support work onsite during dayshift business hours; provide afterhours support when critical operations demand it.
• Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing lead technical bestpractice discussions, mentor peers, and coordinate with functional teams to resolve issues.
