Digital Concession Delivery Manager (Agile)

6-month Contract | Glasgow | Hybrid Working + Travel

Up to 750 p/d Inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced Digital Concession Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of an innovative transport technology programme focused on the evolution of digital travel concessions. This is a unique opportunity to shape and deliver a pioneering solution that will replace traditional travel entitlement methods with a mobile-first experience, integrating digital identity, mobile applications, digital wallets, contactless technologies, barcode solutions and transport ticketing platforms.

Working across a complex public sector landscape, you will lead delivery within a highly matrixed environment, coordinating government stakeholders, transport operators, technology suppliers and delivery partners to bring a new digital service from concept through to pilot and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of a digital transport and concession programme.
  • Manage project plans, governance, RAID, reporting and delivery activities.
  • Deliver mobile app solutions integrating digital wallets, ticketing and payment technologies.
  • Coordinate suppliers, technical teams and public sector stakeholders.
  • Drive engagement across transport operators, government bodies and delivery partners.
  • Support procurement, business case development and programme governance.

Essential Experience

  • Delivering complex digital products within transport or public sector environments.
  • Mobile app delivery with digital wallet, contactless payment or digital identity integration.
  • Proven experience working in large, matrix-managed stakeholder environments.
  • Strong supplier, governance, risk and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Desirable Experience

  • Public transport, ticketing, payments or concession schemes.
  • Mobile ticketing, dynamic barcode or contactless payment solutions.
  • Smart mobility, travel technology or digital customer experience programmes.
