Data Engineer

Data Engineer (Python, SQL) £38K

Coventry based - Hybrid working - 4 days onsite working

I'm currently working with an established retail business that's investing heavily in its data function and is looking to add a Data Engineer to the team.

This is a great opportunity to join a business where you'll play a key role in developing and maintaining data solutions that support business-critical decision making across the organisation. You'll be working closely with a collaborative team, helping to build robust data pipelines, improve data quality and deliver reliable reporting and insights.

What they're looking for:

• Strong experience with Python, SQL and Excel
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/data pipelines
• Knowledge of data modelling and database design
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

• Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks or similar)
• Power BI
• Git or Azure DevOps
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms
• Exposure to retail, eCommerce or customer data

This is a 4 days per week onsite position based in Coventry, offering the chance to work within a supportive team that's genuinely investing in its data capabilities.
