Honda of Short Pump is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our growing dealership team in Short Pump, Virginia.
We are looking for a proven automotive F&I professional who is goal-oriented, customer-focused, highly organized, and knowledgeable in all aspects of dealership finance and insurance
. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in a high-volume dealership and the ability to work closely with Sales Management and the sales team to deliver an exceptional customer experience while achieving department goals.
What You'll Do
Manage all aspects of the dealership's Finance & Insurance department. Present and explain financing and leasing options to customers in a clear and professional manner. Present and sell F&I products, including service contracts, GAP protection, maintenance products, and other available protection plans. Work closely with lenders and financial institutions to secure competitive financing approvals. Review credit applications, structure deals, and submit applications to appropriate lenders. Maintain accurate and complete deal jackets and finance documentation.
Ensure all deals are processed accurately and efficiently from contracting through funding. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, lender, manufacturer, and dealership requirements. Work closely with Sales Managers and Sales Consultants to structure deals and maximize opportunities. Train and coach sales staff on the F&I process and available products. Handle customer questions and concerns professionally and promptly. Help establish and achieve monthly F&I goals and objectives. Maintain strong relationships with lenders, vendors, customers, and dealership personnel.
Protect the dealership's financial and legal interests while providing a positive customer experience.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
~3+ years of automotive Finance Manager/F&I experience preferred.
~ Proven experience in a high-volume automotive dealership
.
~ Strong knowledge of automotive lending, leasing, credit, and F&I products.
~ Strong understanding of deal structure, funding, CIT, DMV/title requirements, and documentation.
~ Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer service skills.
~ Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
~ Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
~ Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
~ Strong computer and dealership management system skills.
~ Professional appearance and positive attitude.
~ Strong ethics, integrity, and commitment to compliance.
~ Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
