The Role • Support diesel engine propulsion systems and ship service diesel generators for Navy vessels. • Conduct diesel engine data analysis, trending, and reporting. • Perform ship visits for inspections and data collection. • Troubleshoot and verify diesel propulsion and generation systems. • Provide installation support for new system upgrades. • Assist with training, test plans, and presentations. What You'll Need • BS in Marine Engineering from an ABET institution. • Up to 5 years of experience in diesel engine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; recent Maritime Academy graduates are preferred. • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. • Shipboard experience is desired. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
