Systems Engineer/AI Platform Engineer

Role: Sr. Systems Engineer/AI Platform Engineer

Location: Austin, TX ( Hybrid 4 days/week)

Duration: 6+ month

Seeking a technically skilled AI Platform Engineer to stand up and manage enterprise AI capabilities across platforms like Anthropic, OpenAI, and other emerging AI tech. Owns end-to-end deployment, ops support, and lifecycle mgmt of enterprise AI platforms.

What you'll do:

• Lead end-to-end deployment of enterprise AI platforms and services
• Own day-to-day admin and ops support of AI platforms
• Monitor platform health, availability, performance, and usage trends
• Manage vendor escalations and coordinate issue resolution
• Develop runbooks, ops procedures, and support docs
• Drive platform lifecycle mgmt, upgrades, and decommissioning
• Define support models, SLOs, and operational metrics
• Develop user onboarding and enablement programs
• Build automation scripts for AI platform ops and integrations
• Design data pipelines from enterprise systems, APIs, and cloud platforms

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's in CS, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ yrs exp supporting enterprise tech platforms or SaaS products
• 3+ yrs exp implementing/administering AI, cloud, or collab platforms
• Exp deploying enterprise SaaS solutions at scale
• Strong scripting/automation exp (Python, PowerShell, or similar)
• Exp extracting/analyzing data from APIs, DBs, and cloud systems
• Strong knowledge of IAM, SSO, Entra ID/Azure AD, SAML/OAuth/OIDC, RBAC
• Exp with Splunk, Grafana, or similar monitoring tools
• Exp with production support and incident mgmt
• Anthropic, OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, MS Copilot, or Azure AI Foundry exp a plus
