Job Title: Manual Tester

Job Type: Contract

We are looking for an experienced Manual Tester / QA Analyst to join our team in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual testing, test case design, test execution, defect tracking, and quality assurance processes.

Required Skills & Responsibilities:

• Strong experience in Manual Testing and Software Quality Assurance (QA).

• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Software Testing methodologies.

• Experience in writing, reviewing, and executing test cases and test scenarios.

• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and Integration Testing.

• Identify, document, track, and report software defects.

• Experience working with defect management tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or HP ALM.

• Strong knowledge of test plans, test strategies, and test documentation.

• Ability to analyze business requirements and prepare test scenarios.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to resolve issues.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.

• Experience with API testing using Postman.

• Knowledge of web-based and client-server applications.

• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.

Note: Candidates with strong hands-on manual testing experience and excellent attention to detail are preferred.
