Technical Support Engineer

Introduction:

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting on-site inspections, data collection, and field testing. You will play a crucial role in logging regional performance metrics, translating technical updates for teams and clients, and ensuring the smooth operation of hardware subsystems. This position requires frequent travel to regional field sites and strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, data collection, and field testing
• Log regional performance metrics and translate technical updates for teams and clients
• Perform hardware troubleshooting and system testing
• Produce technical documentation and reports
• Collaborate with team members on field operations and data analysis
• Communicate effectively with clients on technical issues
• Ensure performance monitoring and maintain regional performance metrics

Requirements:

• Recent Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Experience in field testing, on-site inspections, and data collection
• Knowledge of hardware subsystems and troubleshooting
• Strong technical communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently
• Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities
• Basic scripting skills are a plus
• Willingness to travel frequently and readiness for field support
