Job summary:

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Software Engineer to design and build scalable, enterprise-grade web applications using React, TypeScript, and AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in front-end architecture, performance optimization, design systems, cloud integration, and modern engineering practices, with the ability to mentor teams and drive UI innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Front-End Development & Architecture

• Design and develop enterprise-scale applications using React and TypeScript.

• Build reusable component libraries, design systems, and scalable front-end frameworks.

• Define front-end standards, best practices, and modernization strategies.

• Implement state management using React Query, Context API, and related technologies.

 

Performance & User Experience

• Optimize Core Web Vitals, application performance, and responsiveness.

• Implement code splitting, lazy loading, caching, and microfrontend solutions.

• Ensure accessible, responsive, and WCAG-compliant user experiences.

 

Cloud & Integration

• Integrate applications with AWS services including CloudFront,

S3, API Gateway, Cognito, Lambda, and Bedrock.

• Consume REST APIs and implement secure authentication and authorization patterns.

Engineering Excellence

• Drive code quality, TypeScript adoption, testing, and CI/CD best practices.

• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and reduce technical debt.

• Build AI-enabled user experiences leveraging AWS Bedrock and Generative AI capabilities.

Requirements:

Core Skills

• React (7+ years)

• TypeScript (5+ years)

• JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3

• REST APIs and Responsive Design

• Component-Based Architecture

 

Front-End Technologies

• React Hooks, TanStack React Query, Zustand

• Material UI (MUI), SCSS/Sass, Emotion

• Storybook and Design System Development

• i18next or similar localization frameworks

 

Testing & Performance

• Vitest/Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright

• Bundle Optimization, Tree Shaking, Lazy Loading

• Core Web Vitals and Browser Performance Profiling

 

Cloud & DevOps

• AWS: CloudFront, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, ECS, CloudWatch, Bedrock

• GitHub Actions, CI/CD Pipelines, SonarQube, Veracode, Terraform

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building enterprise platforms serving 10,000+ users.

• Experience leading front-end architecture across multiple products.

• Experience building reusable component libraries and design systems.

• Experience with Generative AI and AWS Bedrock.

• Strong knowledge of security, accessibility, scalability, and performance best practices.
