L2 Production Support Engineer

Pay Range: $55/hr - $62/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for business requests and reported impacts
• Monitor and alert critical trading system environments
• Implement releases and conduct post-release testing
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders and infrastructure contacts
• Troubleshoot complex systems issues and proactively identify problem hotspots
• Develop tools to drive efficiency and stability improvements
• Lead daily technical change meetings managing global resources through the bank's change process
• Generate reports using presentation and analysis tools like Tableau and MS Office

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency with operating systems: Solaris, Linux, Windows
• Experience with scripting languages: Unix Shell, Perl, Python, SQL (Intermediate level: multi-table joins, grouping results, etc.)
• Well-rounded understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
• Strong adherence to written procedures and policies for Change Management
• Excellent communication skills and resilience in high-pressure environments
