Infrastructure & Cloud Systems Engineer

Certification: Current AWS Solutions Architect Associate or higher – Mandatory

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Cloud Systems Engineer with strong AWS expertise to design, deploy, and support hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Must Have

• 5+ years of Infrastructure/Systems Engineering experience.

• Current AWS Solutions Architect Associate or higher certification.

• Strong AWS administration and networking experience.

• Hands-on AWS Systems Manager and AWS Lambda.

• Experience with EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, Direct Connect, ECS, ELB, Route53, EFS, Auto Scaling.

• Experience with AWS services including SQS, Connect, Transfer Family, Pinpoint, Compute Optimizer.

• Strong Terraform / CloudFormation experience.

• Scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

• Windows Server and Linux administration.

• Experience with hybrid cloud/on-prem connectivity, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Preferred

• Azure VM, VNet, Azure AD, Storage, ExpressRoute.

• VMware vSphere/vCenter.

• Nutanix AOS/AHV and Prism.

• Ansible.

• Storage platforms such as NetApp, Pure, or EMC.

• Backup tools such as Commvault, Veeam, Rubrik, or NetBackup.

• Disaster Recovery, RTO/RPO, and failover testing.

• ServiceNow/Jira and ITIL experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage AWS/Azure infrastructure.

• Support hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.

• Implement cloud security, tagging, monitoring, and cost controls.

• Support cloud migrations and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and cloud issues.

• Develop automation and maintain infrastructure documentation/runbooks.

• Collaborate with security, networking, and application teams.

• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
