In this role, you'll:

Join the Infrastructure, Projects and Engineering division responsible for delivering smart, integrated and sustainable Transport infrastructure and places that are valued by our customers and communities.

You will support our team in either a Project Manager/Engineer role 1, focused on tunnelling, working with challenging undergound conditions and work with geotechnical soft ground surface in a tunnel stabilisation scope. You will have the opportunity to work on 4-kilometre twin road tunnels excavations, cross-passages, underground caverns and tunnel fit-out scope.

Project Manager/Engineer role 2, Structure focused role coordinating structural, civil, utilities and active transport elements on surface and permanent building structures subsurface works.

Roles are based in the Mascot project office and can transition to site-based delivery roles, requiring your presence most days at the Mascot office or work out of the site offices located at Arncliffe or Rockdale.

Strong project management, stakeholder engagement and contract management expertise, an independent leader with the ability to balance competing priorities and deliver successful outcomes.

Possess sound understanding of quality management, work health and safety requirements, environmental management and risk management frameworks with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders and communicate complex information clearly and effectively. Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering quality outcomes and continuous improvement.

Bachelor of Engineering qualification in a relevant discipline from an Australian university or equivalent overseas qualification, and demonstrated and relevant professional experience, and/or Chartership as a Professional Engineer.

Hold and maintain a valid Australian motor vehicle drivers licence and willingness to work outside regular working hours and travel on occasion.
