Job Description
Our client is a fast-paced, research- and technology-focused organization with teams across multiple locations. They are looking for an HR Business Partner to support managers and employees across a broad range of people matters. This is a hands-on role for someone who can build credibility quickly, handle sensitive situations with sound judgment, and help leaders make practical decisions in a constantly evolving environment.

The HRBP will be part of a collaborative People team and will work closely with Recruiting, Talent Development, Legal, Compliance, Workplace, and business leaders. Position details:
Partner directly with managers on employee relations, performance concerns, coaching, organizational changes, and team effectiveness. Support employees and managers throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal transfers, leave administration, development, and offboarding. Help managers prepare for and navigate difficult conversations, performance feedback, and employee concerns.

Support annual HR processes, including performance reviews, merit and bonus planning, compensation changes, mobility, and HRIS transactions. Work with internal People partners on engagement, retention, succession planning, and employee development initiatives. Create and maintain practical HR processes, manager guidance, and employee communications. Ensure employment documentation, internal policies, and people practices are handled consistently and in accordance with applicable laws. Identify process gaps and recommend improvements that make the employee and manager experience more effective.

Serve as a trusted, confidential resource for employees and leaders. Support additional People Operations projects as business needs arise. Ideal candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or People Operations roles. Experience supporting a range of HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, onboarding, talent development, compensation, and recruiting. Background in a high-growth, fast-changing, or highly technical environment.

Experience in financial services, technology, professional services, or another complex industry is preferred. Strong judgment and the ability to handle confidential matters with professionalism and discretion. Ability to coach and influence leaders at different levels of an organization. Clear, direct communication style and strong relationship-building skills. Comfortable working through ambiguity and managing multiple priorities without losing attention to detail. Working knowledge of employment law and general HR compliance requirements.

Experience using HR systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, Culture Amp, or similar platforms. A collaborative approach and interest in building broad People Operations experience across areas such as benefits, payroll, mobility, immigration, and compensation.
