Electrical Project Lead (Associate Director Level) – Data Centre Project


Tier One Main Contractor


West London


Up to £120,000 + Comprehensive Package


A leading Tier One Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Lead to join its high-performing team, delivering a flagship data centre project in West London. This is a senior, client-facing role at Associate Director level, offering the opportunity to lead complex, high-value works within one of the fastest-growing sectors in construction.


The successful candidate will take full ownership of the electrical package from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the electrical delivery strategy across a major data centre project
  • Manage and coordinate MEP subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams
  • Oversee design development, technical reviews, and value engineering processes
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations
  • Drive programme performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Act as the primary electrical lead in client and stakeholder meetings
  • Support commercial teams in cost control, procurement, and reporting
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project engineers and site teams


Key Requirements:


  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale data centre or mission-critical projects
  • Extensive experience in a senior electrical leadership role within a Tier One or major contractor environment
  • Strong technical expertise across electrical systems, commissioning, and integration
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Relevant engineering qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
