Duration:             2+ years to LONG term

Rate:                     $72/hr on OUR W2

Senior DevOps/Enablement Engineer
JOB DUTIES:
• Serve as a Senior Developer on the ISG Operations & Enablement team including handling on-call duties.
• Should be able to write code independently without one-on-one direction.
• Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal (will be explaining code to team members, supporting other development teams, coaching others to success, frequently pairing)
• Developing automation for cloud accounts, infrastructure, FinOps and Enablement.
• Troubleshooting production issues and communicating root cause of problems to others.
• Working with teams globally to support the ISG initiatives.
REQUIRED:
*Excellent communicator, written and verbal
*Ability to work in a global team environment
*Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline and/or equivalent work experience
*4+ years of experience with application development and scripting languages
*Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
*Self-motivated and able to work independently
*Able to participate in on-call rotation every month and handle off-hours support work
*Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time or less. Travel will mainly be to an ISG location.
* 4+ years of experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services).
* AWS Certification (Developer/Architect/DevOps)
* 4+ years of experience with Python, Boto, Terrafrom, TypeScript
*4+ years of experience with Github Actions CI/CD
*Experience with Agile development processes including: Test Driven Development, Test Automation, PYTest.
PREFERRED:
*6+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services [ECS, S3, ES, Lambda, ELB]
*2+ years of experience with Unix/Linux operating systems
*2+ years of experience with Elastic Search/Open Search administration or support
*4+ years of experience with infrastructure as code, automation, troubleshooting and root cause analysis
*Experience with applications development environment, database, data administration and infrastructure capabilities and constraints
