Job Description

  • Manage scope, budget, timelines, and people and partners involved in project delivery
  • Lead delivery on one or more projects end to end
  • Step into existing teams partway through projects and get up to speed quickly
  • Write or refine statements of work
  • Track assumptions, risks, and dependencies
  • Run stand ups, workshops, and client check ins
  • Coordinate research, design, and development inputs
  • Provide additional delivery leadership or capacity during busy periods or team gaps
  • Support identifying, scoping, and bidding for new business opportunities
  • Deliver digital products, large-scale website design and development, strategic design and service design, AI tool development, and other project types
Requirements
  • Typically 8 or more years delivering technology, design or research projects
  • Experienced producer, project manager, or delivery manager
  • Significant experience delivering digital research, design or technology projects
  • Ideally experience with significant budgets ($500k+)
  • Ability to quickly onboard into new contexts, environments and tools
  • Ability to work across diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work and lead independently with minimal oversight
  • Comfort giving and receiving feedback
  • Confident stakeholder communication and judgement about when to escalate
  • Ability to manage scope, budget and timelines under real-time pressure
  • Experience with agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Familiarity with Jira, Asana and similar delivery tools
  • Experience delivering projects for government and/or not-for-profit organisations
  • Ability to start immediately or at short notice is preferred
