Job Description

 
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to build enterprise analytics, reverse-engineer legacy Excel models, and design secure semantic data models.
 
Key Details
 
  • Work Arrangement: Remote (Must be local to Colorado / Denver Metro area for occasional in-person syncs)
  • Location: Denver, CO 80203
  • Shift: EST

Core Responsibilities & Technical Skills
 
  • Data Modeling: Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models; implement Row/Column-Level Security (RLS/CLS); utilize Tabular Editor (BPA).
  • DAX & Optimization: Write advanced DAX measures/calculations and optimize report performance using DAX Studio.
  • Integrations: Connect multi-source data including Google BigQuery, ArcGIS, SQL Server, APIs, and streaming datasets.
  • Excel Reverse-Engineering: Deconstruct legacy spreadsheets, formulas, and pivot tables into streamlined Power BI models.
  • Service & ALM: Manage Power BI Service deployments, access controls, refresh schedules, and Azure DevOps source control workflows.
Qualifications
 
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience running working sessions and managing backlog items.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Google AI tools a plus).
