DevOps Engineer

This contingent worker position will provide specialized expertise in DevSecOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines for the assured deployment of capability. Developing, maintaining, and extending these pipelines requires specialized expertise.

The position requires a deep understanding of high-level programming languages such as Java, scripting languages used for user interface designs, such as JavaScript, and scripting languages such as Bash or Ansible.

Must-Have Requirements

Programming and Scripting

• JavaScript – 2 years
• Bash or Ansible – 2 years
• Scripting languages: Perl, Python, Shell Scripting, and PowerShell – 6 years

Software Tools and Automation

• Hudson/Jenkins – 2 years
• Automation tools (e.g., Ansible) – 5 years
• GitLab CI/CD
• Experience in continuous integration

DevOps and Systems

• Experience with DevOps workflows and common CI/CD tools – 2 years
• Linux environment – 5 years
• Configure and maintain a number of Linux systems utilizing scripting languages and automation tools

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Currently holds a Secret Clearance or higher
• Security plans (i.e., RMF), procedures, and compliance with DoD Directive 8140
• Experience with Tenable’s Security Center

Clearance Requirements

An interim clearance is sufficient to start this position. An active clearance is highly preferred.

Work Location

This position will be 100% onsite due to the nature of the work. There may be some remote flexibility on a case-by-case basis, but there are no regular remote days. The final schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.

Interview Process

2. Second Round: Zoom interview with additional team members, as needed.
