Lead Engineer - QA

Location: West Los Angeles, CA

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain performance test automation frameworks using JMeter, ReadyAPI/SoapUI, Jenkins, and SQL.
• Develop and execute load, stress, limits, and end-to-end performance testing for REST APIs across AWS and Azure.
• Create complex SQL queries/scripts for test data and database validation.
• Develop test strategies, plans, automation, and execution for medium to large QA projects.
• Analyze results, drive defect triage, and collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor QA Engineers while remaining hands-on technically.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of QA Engineering experience with strong performance and automation testing.
• Proficiency in C#, Java, Python, Groovy, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on AWS/Azure API testing.
• Strong JMeter and ReadyAPI/SoapUI experience.
• Knowledge of Selenium, Cucumber, BrowserStack, and Appium.
• Strong SQL with MySQL, MS SQL, and/or Cosmos DB.
• Experience with Jenkins/CI/CD, TestRail, JIRA, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience leading QA teams and delivering large-scale testing initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
