Neos is Seeking a Mid-Level Tester for a contract role with our client in Austin, TX.

Job Description

Required/Mandatory Skills: Test scenario/test case development and execution using BDD/Gherkin syntax; executes system, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing; basic to intermediate SQL for data validation.

Preferred/Nice-to-Have Skills: API/integration testing exposure; experience testing data-grid-heavy, Angular-based enterprise web applications. Preferred certification for this role: ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation Level).

Required Years of Experience: 5+ years QA/testing; 2+ years Gherkin/BDD.

Required Certifications: None required by the RFP. Preferred, as they strengthen resume/experience scoring (40% of evaluation weight): role-relevant industry certifications - see role-specific note below.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Any Specific Industry, State Agency, or Domain Experience Required/Preferred: TxDOTCONNECT platform experience preferred, not required.
