Cloud Security Engineer with CISSP / GIAC

·       Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and related work experience

·       5+ years overall IT/Security experience

·       Experience in AWS Cloud Security and cloud migration programs.

·       Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), RBAC, and privileged access controls.

·       Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).

·       Experience with security applications and working with application owners/vendors to resolve security issues

·       Knowledge of cloud networking, firewalls, security groups, and network segmentation.

·       Experience with vulnerability management, operating system hardening, and security monitoring.

·       Familiarity with security logging, SIEM integration, threat detection, and incident response processes.

·       Understanding of cloud governance, risk management, and security compliance frameworks.

·       Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, architecture, security, and application teams

·       Bachelor’s degree in IT field     

·       AWS or other cloud specific certifications

·       Security specific certification (CISSP, GIAC, etc)
