Fire Service Engineer – London £35,000–£48,000 Basic | Excellent OTE | 4-Day Night Shift Option | Permanent or Subcontract V7 Recruitment is looking for experienced Fire Service Engineers to support an established fire systems specialist with a significant and growing workload across London.

There are multiple positions available, working across a portfolio of major commercial and high-rise buildings throughout the capital. The role would suit an engineer with a strong service, maintenance and fault-finding background looking for consistent work, excellent overtime opportunities and further technical training.

The Role<br />Planned preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems<br />Reactive service and fault finding<br />Diagnosing and repairing system faults<br />Small works and minor modifications<br />Testing fire alarm systems<br />Working across addressable and networked systems<br />Completing service documentation and reports<br />Working across commercial and high-rise environments throughout LondonExperience Required<br />Fire Alarm Service &amp; Maintenance experience<br />Strong fault-finding ability<br />Experience with addressable fire alarm systems<br />Gent and/or Notifier experience highly desirable<br />Closed-protocol experience beneficial<br />Good understanding of BS 5839<br />Manufacturer training advantageous<br />Full UK driving licence<br />ECS or equivalent preferredEngineers with a solid fire alarm background who are willing to undertake further manufacturer training will also be considered.

Package<br />£35,000–£48,000 basic salary, depending on experience<br />Excellent OTE through regular overtime<br />Day and night-shift opportunities<br />Night shift option – 4-day working week<br />Night hours between 5:00pm – 1:00am<br />Night shifts paid at 1.5x<br />Travel time paid in line with company policy<br />Company vehicle and fuel card<br />25 days holiday + bank holidays<br />Workplace pension<br />Medical benefits<br />PPE, uniform and equipment<br />Ongoing manufacturer and industry training<br />Continued career development and training academyPermanent or Subcontract The preference is permanent employment, however experienced subcontract Fire Service Engineers will also be considered for the current workload.
