iOS Engineer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking an iOS Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite per week required) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a contract to hire opportunity.
We are seeking a talented iOS Engineer to design, build, and maintain the next generation of iOS applications. The primary focus of this role will be developing high-end iOS applications for the latest Apple mobile devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of iOS Frameworks, be proficient in Objective-C, Swift, and Swift UI, and will collaborate with design teams to define and implement new application features.
Responsibilities:

• Design, Develop & Prototype front end applications for the Mobile team
• Translate design mockups into functional user interfaces
• Implement front-end logic and data interactions
• Develop Screens and Components by integrating back-end APIs
• Collaborate with the design team to define app features
• Participate in design review with the middleware team and coordinate with business on the functionality
• Ensure quality and performance of the application to specifications
• Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks
• Fix application bugs before the final release
• Maintain the code and atomization of the application
• Design and implement application updates
• Design, build, and maintain next-generation iOS mobile applications

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in iOS Development using Swift, UIkit and/or Objective C
• Hands-on experience on Copilot - Copilot MCP (Model Context Protocol): Experience building and integrating custom tools and data sources for AI assistants
• Ability to extend Copilot capabilities through MCP framework to enable enterprise-specific workflows and third-party integrations
• Proven experience as a UI/UX developer for Mobile applications on the iOS platform
• Proven experience as an app developer
• Proficient in code versioning tools including Git and Bitbucket
• Familiarity with Biometrics, push notifications, and usage of Camera APIs

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
