Mobile IOS Developer - Cary, NC - FTE

The Expertise You Should have:
• 4+ years of professional experience developing and shipping iOS applications in Swift.
• Deep, hands-on experience building and shipping production features with SwiftUI. Experience integrating SwiftUI in an existing production codebase is also required.
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and/or agentic AI workflows in Xcode and iOS development, including using them to explore code, generate or refactor implementation and tests, and automate routine engineering tasks while applying sound review, testing, privacy, and security practices.
• Working knowledge of modern Swift, including async/await, structured concurrency, actors, Sendable, and strict concurrency checking. Experience with Combine is valuable, especially when maintaining or migrating existing systems.
• Experience with state and data flow using current SwiftUI patterns, including Observation where appropriate.
• Demonstrated ability to separate presentation, domain, and data responsibilities and define clear boundaries between them. You can choose and evolve an architecture that fits the product and team, with an emphasis on testability, maintainability, and pragmatic tradeoffs rather than adherence to a named pattern.
• Experience building accessible experiences using VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, and other relevant accessibility tools
• Experience writing automated tests with Swift Testing and XCTest, and UI tests with XCUITest. You understand testable design, asynchronous testing, and when to use unit, integration, snapshot, and end-to-end tests.
• Experience designing and consuming network APIs with URLSession, handling failures and offline or degraded states, and managing data safely.
• Understanding of performance, memory management, diagnostics, observability, and energy use on Apple platforms. You can use Instruments and Xcode diagnostics to investigate real user impact.
• Experience with privacy and security for financial or otherwise sensitive data, including secure storage, authentication flows, data minimization, transport security, and appropriate logging.
• Experience developing and distributing reusable iOS frameworks and managing dependencies with CocoaPods, including podspecs, private pod repositories, versioning, and integration into CI/CD workflows.
• Experience collaborating through code reviews, pull requests, pair programming, and technical design discussions.
 What you will be doing
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, architect, UXD to create experience roadmaps to build robust and stable apps.
• Developing maintainable, performant iOS code with effective documentation that can be leveraged by iOS developers on other teams.
• Build experimentation-driven product features, core UI infrastructure & systems, and define design patterns to integrate with platform frameworks.
• develop code for testability and write automated tests with XCTest/XCUITest to help uphold app quality.
• Interested on pioneering iOS technologies and software engineering practices and modernize the code base to accelerate development while maintaining the quality.
• Partnering with platform squads to define mobile engineering standards, best practices, and tooling.
• Supporting a mobile-first world through upskilling and augmenting squads with deep mobile expertise
