Multi Skilled Engineer - Elec bias

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a new challenge? Look no further! Valeo Snackfoods, a manufacturer of some of the UK’s best loved snacks and confectionery, is looking for a new member of the team!
What you'll be doing:
- The daily reporting of breakdowns v PPMs activities
- Prioritisation of repair work
- Planning and Monitoring machine performance
- Working with the Planning Department to negotiate machine availability
- Monitoring failure
- Supporting External Contractors
- Technical support for production when required
- To maintain the highest standards in housekeeping, adopting a clean as you go policy.
- To maintain the highest standards when completing paperwork and works sign off.
Key areas of the role:
- Carrying out of the engineering activities.
- Achieving P.P.M. Plans and completion rates.
- Minimizing engineering downtime.
- Maintaining GMP and safety standards within the Engineering Department.
- Implementing and ensuring compliance of engineering processes within the team.
- Ensuring the highest engineering audit standards at all times· Ensuring Engineering skills and knowledge are maintained at the highest level.
About you:
- Relevant electrical engineering qualification
- Able to prove competency in all forms of isolation, electrical safety and safe panel entry
- Experience of FMCG operations
- PC Literate (thereby able to use computer-based maintenance systems)
