Job Description

Job Summary:
• We are seeking an experienced CGI OMS Application Support Specialist/Engineer to support and maintain a critical Outage Management System (OMS) environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting CGI OMS applications, troubleshooting production issues, maintaining application and server environments, and ensuring system reliability and performance.
• This role will work closely with operations, infrastructure, and application support teams to maintain and enhance OMS capabilities in a utility environment.

Key Responsibilities:
•    
Provide day-to-day operational support for CGI Outage Management System (OMS) applications.
•    Perform application monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
•    Support application maintenance activities, upgrades, patches, and deployments.
•    Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server environments supporting OMS applications.
•    Support database-related activities, including SQL queries, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve system stability.
•    Monitor system health, availability, and performance.
•    Participate in on-call support and outage response activities as needed.
•    Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge articles.
•    Support system testing, validation, and implementation activities.

Required Qualifications:
•    Experience supporting CGI Outage Management System (OMS) applications.
•    Strong application production support and operations experience.
•    Experience with Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
•    Experience with SQL and database support.
•    Experience troubleshooting enterprise applications in production environments.
•    Knowledge of incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
•    Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
•    Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    
Experience within the electric utility industry.
•    Python scripting or automation experience.
•    Experience supporting highly available mission-critical systems.
•    Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms.
•    Experience with OMS integrations and supporting related utility applications.
