Job Overview:
Seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Paralegal to support attorneys with claims management, legal documentation, case preparation, and administrative hearings. Candidates must have knowledge of Ohio workers’ compensation procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare claims for administrative hearings and draft pleadings, legal correspondence, and claim summaries.

• Request, organize, and review medical records; coordinate independent medical examinations.

• Manage case activities, electronic filings, and critical deadlines.

• Assist with depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.

• Proofread legal documents and communicate with attorneys, clients, and medical providers.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm or legal setting.

• Knowledge of Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) and Industrial Commission of Ohio procedures.

• Strong legal writing, proofreading, organizational, and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred.
