Our client is seeking an experienced Product Team Manager (PTM) to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic Infrastructure technology initiatives across the organization. This individual will serve as the primary leader for infrastructure-focused product and project portfolios, partnering closely with business leaders, technology teams, and executive stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of critical technology investments.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure programs involving data centers, servers, networks, cloud environments, and enterprise technology platforms. In addition to strong project and product management expertise, this role requires the ability to build trusted relationships with business stakeholders, translate business needs into technology solutions, and guide cross-functional teams through complex initiatives.

The Product Team Manager will be responsible for both the day-to-day oversight of infrastructure projects and the longer-term management of infrastructure product roadmaps, ensuring technology investments align with business objectives, operational requirements, cost expectations, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead infrastructure-related technology projects from initiation through implementation, including strategic planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

  • Manage a portfolio of infrastructure products and services, including data center technologies, server environments, network platforms, cloud solutions, and enterprise infrastructure tools.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Sponsors, business leaders, and technical teams to define objectives, scope, priorities, timelines, and success measures.

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure roadmaps that support current operational needs while preparing for future business growth and technology modernization efforts.

  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring priorities are understood and execution remains aligned with business goals.

  • Facilitate Agile and project management activities, including planning sessions, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, sprint planning, release planning, and executive status updates.

  • Coordinate resources across infrastructure teams, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Monitor project scope, budget, timelines, risks, dependencies, and resource capacity, proactively addressing issues that may impact delivery.

  • Drive accountability across project teams while fostering collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

  • Establish and track key performance indicators, project success metrics, and operational outcomes.

  • Manage project financials, including budget tracking, resource utilization, invoices, and expense oversight.

  • Document product strategies, project plans, business requirements, and governance materials to support effective decision-making and execution.

  • Partner with technical leaders and resource managers to align staffing needs, provide performance feedback, and support team development initiatives.

  • Communicate project status, risks, accomplishments, and future priorities to executive leadership and key stakeholders regularly.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Technology Project Management, Program Management, Product Management, or a related leadership role.

  • Significant experience leading enterprise IT infrastructure projects, including work involving data centers, servers, networks, storage, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, or related infrastructure technologies.

  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional technology initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

  • Experience working directly with business executives and operational leaders to develop and execute technology strategies.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, Agile practices, and product lifecycle management.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and resource planning.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities.

  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, Scrum Master, Product Management, or other relevant certifications.

  • Experience leading infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, network transformation, or data center initiatives.

  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture, IT operations, and infrastructure governance practices.

  • Experience within the oilfield services, energy, or industrial sectors.

  • Previous leadership experience managing large infrastructure portfolios and strategic technology programs.
