Customer Host - Carmarthen, Wales

Salary: 25,779 per annum

The Role

The Customer Host will work as part of a team responsible for the day to day delivery of a highstandard on-board catering service to passengers.

Role responsibilities

  • Offer passengers the on-board trolley service throughout the journey, complying with
    health and safety protocols at all times to meet customer needs and ensure a high-quality
    customer service.
    Be responsible for on-board trolley stock by checking the trolley has enough supply for
    serving customers prior to the train departing to ensure we can provide the on-board
    service.
    Be responsible for maintaining the trolley by keeping it clean, well equipped with an up-to
    date price list and report any condition issues to the Depot Manager to enable us to provide
    the on-board service.
    Comply with health and safety policies and procedures, safety protocols and briefs by
    adhering to relevant regulations including COSHH assessments and food hygiene standards
    to ensure we provide a safe and hygienic on-board service.
    Keep up to date with learning and development by undertaking all regulatory, mandatory
    and refresher training as and when required to ensure you are compliant with regulations
    and methods of best practice.

Who we're looking for

  • Previous experience of working in a customer focusedrole.
  • Ability to upsell and promote products to the general public.
  • Flexible and available to work the shifts required.

Welsh Language Skills

While not essential for thisrole, Welsh language skills would make a great addition to your application.
